Negative Pressure Drainage Catherer for Single-use

Providing products to help improve patient safety and comfort is at the heart of what we do. For years, our quality and clinically designed wound drains have been supported with best practice guidance to help ensure that clinicians feel comfortable and ultimately more confident in what they do.

Negative Pressure Drainage Catherer

Our wound drain line, trusted amongst that clinical community since 2011, represents our long-standing experience in the industry. You will find comfort in knowing that we provide a full assortment of wound drains and drainage systems, ensuring that wound drain portfolio will effectively meet the needs of a variety of situations and procedures.

Spiral Drains

Spiral Drains are available in a variety of sizes and styles, both with and without negative pressure ball and drainage bag

Product Features

Drains also when subject to tractions or unusual positioning
Spiral design offers alternative drainage routes to eliminate blocking from blood clots
High efficiency allowing use of a smaller size than a standard perforated drain
Easy X-ray identification by effect of total radiopaque profile

Fluted Drains

Using CONVENTIONAL hubless fluted drains, fluids transfer from fluted profile to round profile is not immediate, therefore the flow of fluids is reduced and risk of occlusion increased.

Fluted Drain, thanks to Yangtze River’s extrusion technology, has an ajoincless structure which allows direct transfer of fluids from fluted to round profile.

Product Features

A four-channel design
Designed to help assist in minimizing tissue in growth–through a no-hole design
Reduces the risk of adhesion in body tissue making them easier to remove after patient recovery
Easy X-ray identification by effect of total radiopaque profile

Flat Fluted Drains

The traditional design features a single extrusion profile that ensures efficient drainage speed by eliminating any transition passage between the fluted segment and the round profile. This seamless design optimizes flow and prevents disruptions in drainage.

Product Features

Flat fluted drains are differentiated by a single extrusion profile, unique on the market
Channel drain offers important advantages over conventional perforated drains by capillary effect
Flat four channels shape allows for greater multi-channel drainage, radiopaque for easy X-ray visualization

Flat Perforated Drains

Flat Perforated Drains are available in a variety of sizes and styles, they are often referred to as classic drains.

The traditional design provides a smooth transition from the drainage segment to the round profile, ensuring no pain when removing the tube after patient recovery. This thoughtful design enhances patient comfort during the removal process.

Product Features

Misaligned holes allowing for a better drainage and reducing the risk of clotting
Inner ribbing in flat tube reduces risk of clogging and collapsing
Internal grooves maintains drain patency and permits continu- ous suction with flat profile

Perforated Drains

Perforated Drains are available in a variety of sizes and styles, they are often referred to as classic drains.

Aligned holes result in poor drainage performance and a higher risk of obstruction, while misaligned holes improve drainage efficiency and reduce the risk of clotting. This design difference significantly impacts overall functionality and safety.

Product Features

Perforated round drains are one-piece design and hubless
Misaligned holes allowing for a better drainage and reducing the risk of clotting
Perforated round drains feature a radiopaque stripe running the entire length of the drain for X-ray detection

Negative pressure Ball and Accessories

Negative pressure ball is available for use with all wound drains or in convenient kits.

There is no need for constant patient monitoring because even when the bulb is full, the fluid continues flowing into the drainage bag, allowing continuous wound drainage. Additionally, there are no biological hazards for nurses, as they do not need to empty the drainage bag—simply changing the bag and activating the bulb evacuator minimizes exposure to infections.

Product Features

Silicone walls to provide easy activation of suction
Internal anti-reflux valve to help prevent backflow of fluid
Clear reservoir and graduations that make it easy to identify and measure exudate
Not made with natural rubber latex

Silicone Wound Drains System

Benefits

Better biocompatibility with human tissue and blood, if compared with PVC
Silicone offers better elasticity than PVC, used in drains improves milking them which helps preventing drain occlusions
Silicone is biologically inert and non-allergenic thus doesn't favour bacteria growth as PVC does
